Arsenal are reportedly tracking Borussia Dortmund midfielder Justin Ejodamen, but Barcelona are understood to hold an early advantage in a pursuit also involving Chelsea.
TEAMtalk journalist Graeme Bailey reports that the Gunners have been monitoring the 15-year-old and regard him as a prospect with significant long-term potential.
The report also names AC Milan and Juventus among his admirers, while Dortmund remain confident they can retain him.
Who is Arsenal-linked Justin Ejodamen?
Ejodamen plays in Dortmund’s under-16 squad and represents Italy at youth level.
Dortmund’s own international call-up announcement confirms that the midfielder joined Italy’s under-16 group during September.
TEAMtalk says his combination of technical ability, physical strength and attacking movement has prompted comparisons with Jude Bellingham.
That comparison describes the qualities attracting attention. It does not establish how quickly he could progress towards senior football.
Arsenal interest fits wider recruitment ambition
The link comes after Mikel Arteta outlined Arsenal’s ambitions in youth recruitment, with the club looking beyond Hale End for emerging talent.
Our coverage of Andria Bartishvili’s proposed development plan before joining Arsenal offers another example of that longer-term approach.
For Ejodamen, the reported interest remains at the monitoring stage. Bailey’s report does not announce an Arsenal bid or an agreement.
The next meaningful development would be a formal approach or clearer information about the player’s plans.
