Arsenal have entered the international break with several fitness issues for Mikel Arteta to monitor.
Declan Rice has become the latest concern after withdrawing from England duty, while Ben White, Piero Hincapié, Cristhian Mosquera and William Saliba are all at different stages of their recoveries.
Arsenal do not return to Premier League action until Leeds United visit Emirates Stadium on Saturday, 10 October.
That gives the medical staff almost three weeks to assess and rehabilitate several important players.

Declan Rice injury latest
Declan Rice is the newest name on Arsenal’s injury list after withdrawing from England duty.
The midfielder had initially been selected by Thomas Tuchel for four UEFA Nations League fixtures during the extended international window.
England subsequently confirmed that Rice was one of five players to withdraw because of injury issues.
No further detail has yet been provided regarding the exact nature or severity of Rice’s problem.
That means Arsenal supporters should be cautious about assuming he will either definitely miss or definitely return for the Leeds fixture.
The three-week gap does at least give Arteta and Arsenal’s medical staff time to monitor Rice without the additional workload of four international matches.
We have covered Rice’s England withdrawal and what it means for Arsenal.
Ben White injury latest
Ben White continues to recover from a groin injury.
The defender missed the Carabao Cup victory over Ipswich Town and was also unavailable for the 3-0 defeat against Brighton.
White had returned to training before the Brighton game but was not fit enough to make the matchday squad.
He will remain at London Colney during the international break, giving Arsenal almost three weeks to work on his recovery.
There is currently no confirmed return date.
A comeback against Leeds is possible if White continues to progress, but that should not yet be treated as guaranteed.
Piero Hincapié injury latest
Piero Hincapié will also remain with Arsenal during the international break.
The defender had been expected to join Ecuador but was omitted from their latest squad while continuing to recover from a recent fitness problem.
Hincapié returned to Arsenal’s bench against Brighton but did not feature.
Remaining in north London removes the demands of international travel and gives Arsenal’s medical staff an uninterrupted recovery period before Leeds.
We have the full Piero Hincapié injury update following his Ecuador omission.
Cristhian Mosquera injury latest
Cristhian Mosquera remains unavailable with a muscular injury.
The defender has missed several Arsenal fixtures and was again absent from the squad at Brighton.
There had been encouragement around his recovery before the international break, but he was not ready to return.
The extended pause should give Arsenal an opportunity to avoid rushing the 22-year-old back.
Leeds could become a realistic target if his rehabilitation continues positively, although no return date has been officially confirmed.
William Saliba injury latest
William Saliba remains Arsenal’s longer-term defensive absentee.
The France international is continuing his rehabilitation from a back problem.
Arsenal have taken a cautious approach to his recovery rather than rushing him back into competitive action.
No firm return date has been announced.
That makes the progress of White, Hincapié and Mosquera particularly important during the international break.
