Arsenal striker Mylo Bernard played the full 90 minutes on his England Under-17 debut as the Young Lions beat Israel 2-1 on Monday.
The summer signing started in Duisburg and remained on the pitch throughout England’s comeback, marking another step after his move from Crystal Palace.

England’s official match report confirms Bernard’s place in the starting XI as Barry Lewtas’ side opened their three-match tournament in Germany.
Israel led at half-time through Ariel Dorra, despite England creating several opportunities.
An own goal brought England level in the 70th minute before Chelsea youngster Hezekiah-Daniel Grimwade scored the winner three minutes later.
Bernard did not score, but completing the match gave him a substantial first opportunity at this international age group. Daily Cannon confirmed it was his U17 debut.
Two more England fixtures await
Bernard joined fellow Arsenal youngsters Charlie Phillips and Vincent Joseph in the squad for this international window.
England next face Venezuela on Thursday 1 October at 10:30am BST, before meeting Germany on Sunday 4 October at 11am BST.
Those fixtures offer Bernard further opportunities to build on Monday’s appearance before returning to Arsenal’s academy programme.
