Bukayo Saka scored twice as England demolished Croatia 7-0 in Rijeka on Saturday, with four Arsenal players involved in Thomas Tuchel’s Nations League victory.
The winger struck in the 45th and 68th minutes, helping England turn a commanding first-half display into an emphatic away win.
Harry Kane also scored twice, while Jude Bellingham, Anthony Gordon and substitute Morgan Rogers completed the scoring, as the Press Association’s match report details.
Bukayo Saka delivers England double
Saka’s first goal put England 4-0 ahead just before half-time. His second extended the advantage to six before Rogers added the final goal late on.
Tuchel selected Jarell Quansah behind him at right-back, having discussed the importance of finding the right partnership for Saka before the match.
The Arsenal forward then completed the full game, according to Sky Sports’ match record.
Konsa completes 90 minutes as Arsenal quartet feature
Ezri Konsa also played the entire match and helped England keep a clean sheet following his return to full training on Friday.
That follows the fitness update Read Arsenal covered earlier on Saturday, after a minor issue disrupted his international break.
Eberechi Eze replaced Gordon in the 70th minute, while Myles Lewis-Skelly came on for Elliot Anderson in the 79th.
For Mikel Arteta, Konsa’s full match provides encouragement alongside Saka’s goals. Arsenal’s next fixture is against Leeds United at the Emirates on 10 October, with Lille following in the Champions League three days later.
