Arsenal have reportedly watched Bayer Leverkusen midfielder Ibrahim Maza this season, with Tottenham also tracking the Algeria international.
Graeme Bailey reports for TEAMtalk that both north London clubs have increased their interest in the 20-year-old as they assess his development and potential availability.
The report does not establish that Arsenal have submitted an offer or opened negotiations.
Maza represents a different attacking profile from the forwards named in our earlier coverage of Arsenal’s reported interest in Kevin Schade and Eli Junior Kroupi.
Who is reported Arsenal target Ibrahim Maza?
Maza joined Leverkusen from Hertha Berlin in summer 2025.
The German club’s official player profile confirms a contract running until June 2030, leaving him with almost four years remaining on that agreement.
When announcing his arrival, sporting managing director Simon Rolfes highlighted his dribbling, technical ability and capacity to create opportunities for team-mates.
Those qualities make him an attacking-midfield option rather than a straightforward centre-forward target.
TEAMtalk also names Chelsea, Manchester City and Aston Villa among the clubs following his progress.
However, the report gives no asking price or firm timetable for a potential move. It does not confirm whether Arsenal would pursue him in January or wait until the summer.
For now, Maza is a reported scouting interest. Any bid, negotiations or indication that Leverkusen would sell would represent a further development.
