Arsenal will face Real Madrid, Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund after learning their eight opponents in the 2026/27 Champions League league phase.
Mikel Arteta’s side were handed a heavyweight European schedule during Thursday’s draw in Monaco, with Real Madrid and Dortmund both heading to the Emirates Stadium.
Arsenal will travel to Germany to face Bayern Munich, while their other away fixtures are against Real Betis, Napoli and Slavia Prague.

Arsenal’s eight league-phase opponents are:
- Real Madrid – Home
- Bayern Munich – Away
- Borussia Dortmund – Home
- Real Betis – Away
- Lille – Home
- Napoli – Away
- Sabah – Home
- Slavia Prague – Away
The draw gives Arsenal some particularly demanding assignments against Europe’s biggest clubs.
A home meeting with Real Madrid immediately stands out, while Arsenal must travel to Bayern and Serie A champions Napoli.
Dortmund will also visit north London, with Lille completing Arsenal’s home opposition alongside Azerbaijani side Sabah.

The new league-phase format sees each club play eight different opponents, with four matches at home and four away.
UEFA conducted Thursday’s draw in Monaco after the 36-team league-phase line-up was completed following this week’s play-offs.
Arsenal enter this season’s competition with significant expectations after reaching the Champions League final last term.
Arteta’s side now know the eight clubs standing between them and another place in the knockout stages, although the precise fixture dates and kick-off times will be confirmed separately.
