Arsenal have been handed a big boost as defender Sokratis Papastathopoulos and goalkeeper Petr Cech have returned to full training and are available for selection.
As reported on the Independent, both players are available for the Gunners’ Europa League match against Sporting CP on Thursday.
Sokratis picked up his injury during the international break as he hobbled off whilst playing for Greece, whilst Cech got injured during Arsenal’s Premier League clash with Watford last month.

Unai Emery is preparing to rotate his squad for the European match and could use both players in the match on Thursday.
German goalkeeper Bernd Leno has stepped in brilliantly during Cech’s absence and the former Chelsea shot-stopper may find it difficult to break back into the starting XI.
Sokratis has been one of Arsenal’s most impressive players so far this term but Rob Holding has also played well in recent weeks. Laurent Koscielny is also on the verge of making his comeback from injury so Emery will be pleased with the condition of his squad.
