Arsenal legend and new Monaco manager Thierry Henry has contacted Arsenal over a potential loan deal for youngster Emile Smith Rowe, according to a report on Caught Offside.
The youngster has made an incredible rise into the Arsenal first team this season under Unai Emery and managed to score his first senior goal for the club in the Europa League group stage match against Qarabag.

Smith Rowe is highly-rated in north London and it is understood that Emery isn’t keen on allowing the youngster to leave on loan. Henry has identified the 18-year-old as a target and wants to make him one of his first signings as a manager.
The Frenchman is looking to use his connections at Arsenal to help him recruit players on loan for Monaco, who have made a poor start to the season.
Smith Rowe looks likely to play a considerable amount of first-team matches for the Gunners this season so a loan move away can’t be expected to be made in an attempt to gain more minutes.
It is an ambitious move from Henry but one that could work out, with many believing that Smith Rowe could learn plenty from the Arsenal legend.
