Arsenal have been handed a huge fitness boost as defender Sokratis Papastathopoulos has recovered from a leg injury in time to face Watford this weekend.
Sokratis limped off for the Gunners during their 2-0 victory over Everton at the Emirates and there were fears that the Greek could miss the Watford clash.

However, as reported on Arsenal’s official club website, the defender is available for selection after recovering from a dead leg.
Sokratis has surprisingly been one of Arsenal’s best players so far this season and manager Unai Emery has been pleased with the former Borussia Dortmund man.
The centre-back missed Arsenal’s 3-1 midweek victory in the Carabao Cup against Brentford but will be warmly welcomed back into the squad.
Rob Holding replaced Sokratis against Everton and the youngster did well to help his side keep a clean sheet so manager Unai Emery knows that he has reliable players on the bench to deputise if needed.
Arsenal host Watford tomorrow afternoon and could leap above the Hornets in the league table with a victory.
