Arsenal goalkeeper Petr Cech has criticised Arsene Wenger for prioritising their style of play over getting positive results during his time as manager, according to a report on the Guardian.
Cech believes that the way the Gunners are playing now feels a lot better and he claims that they have a lot more focus on winning now than they did whilst Wenger was in charge.
The Gunners have had to grind out some wins under Unai Emery in the Premier League this season and although they have not been at their sparkling best, they are still picking up the points.

Cech was in superb form to preserve a clean sheet at the Emirates as Arsenal defeated Everton 2-0 on Sunday.
He said:
What we lacked in the past – I would say the ‘Arsenal way’ was more important than getting the points sometimes and this is not how you win the league.
Sometimes you need to make sure you win an ugly game when you are not playing completely well but you just dig deep, close the back door and win 1-0 no matter how.
I think this is what we lacked over the last three years since I arrived [in 2015]. Against Everton, we went through difficult moments in the game but we managed to get the win and with the clean sheet so this is very positive.
He [Emery] is very demanding and this is how you improve. I think the place has become much more demanding in every way so this is great to see because this is what initially drives everybody forward.
The manager asked for precision and hard work every day. This is how it should be. We have very healthy competition and we are actually taking the benefit of it.
Wenger loved his side to have a certain style of play and wanted them to stick to that style, regardless of the situation they were in but Emery is a lot more flexible with his game plan, which seems to be popular with the players.
