Arsenal goalkeeper Bernd Leno has admitted that he’s been frustrated by being left on the bench but insists he is now ready to push to become the starting goalkeeper, according to a report on the Daily Mail.
The German shot-stopper joined the Gunners from Bundesliga side Bayer Leverkusen during the summer transfer window but only made his competitive debut for the club on Thursday night.

Leno conceded twice as Arsenal won 4-2 in their Europa League group stage fixture at the Emirates.
Petr Cech has been the starting keeper so far this campaign and when asked if he is frustrated, Leno said:
Of course, because I came to the club to play every game.
But I think to move to a bigger club, another country, it needs maybe a little bit of time. It is a little bit frustrating but I keep calm and work very hard to improve. I think my performances in training are good. I train very hard and maybe it needs a little bit of time. I keep calm. My chance will come.
The coach always makes the starting XI based on the performance. I think it could change, not every week, but he will change a lot. He didn’t say the Premier League is Petr’s competition and the Europa League is mine. I will work hard every day to play more games.
Leno is rated highly for his composure with the ball and his passing ability, but Arsenal legend Martin Keown wasn’t too impressed with him on Thursday.
