Barcelona are said to be tracking Liverpool’s Alberto Moreno and Atletico Madrid’s Filipe Luis, as well as Arsenal’s Nacho Monreal, according to reports.
The Spanish side are said to be looking for cover at left-back after Lucas Digne’s departure for Everton during the summer transfer window, but Monreal isn’t the only fullback in their sights.
Barca have enjoyed an excellent start to their domestic season, winning three games from three and topping La Liga ahead of bitter rivals Real Madrid.
Arsenal do not want to let Monreal leave and are reportedly hoping to get him tied down to a new deal as his recent run of form has led to speculation about a move away.
Whilst this is only presumption rather than fact, one would think that the Catalan giants would prefer moves for Luis or Monreal over Moreno as they have both been playing regular first-team football, whilst the Liverpool defender has not.
