If Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang was hoping to impress new manager Unai Emery, he’s gone some way to achieving his aim by breaking the club’s record in the one-legged triple jump, a test designed to show a player’s strength and flexibility.
The striker achieved a distance of 7.97m, which is a new club record. Aubameyang scored 10 goals in 13 games for the Gunners after joining from Borussia Dortmund in January and Arsenal fans will be hoping he can replicate that form over the entire 2018/19 season.

It looks like fitness and sharpness won’t be an issue for the Gabonese international judging by the condition he was in as he returned to pre-season training.
The club’s record transfer will go into the season at Arsenal’s number one striker and if he can hit the back of the net as regularly as he did at the end of the last season, he’ll be a huge asset to his club.
