Arsenal set to make late move for Max Meyer

Arsenal are set to make a late move for German midfielder Max Meyer on deadline day, according to reports..

The player has also had links with loval rivals Tottenham Hotspur but the Gunners are keen to make a move for their long standing target on deadline day.

The 22-year-old’s contract expires in the summer and he could leave on a free then but the Gunners are keen to bring him in this month.

Meyer is yet to register a single attacking return this season which has raised eyebrows that his future may lie elsewhere this month.

But this seems to not have put the Gunners off who are keen to make a move for the German, although it’s unclear if they’ll be willing to agree a pre-contract to get the player for free in the summer or if they’re only interested in signing him immediately.
