Arsenal monitoring Aston Villa striker Keinan Davis

Premier League side Arsenal had scouts watching Aston Villa youngster Keinan Davis in their 0-4 win against Burton Albion, with the 19-year-old Englishman managing to get his name on the scoresheet in an impressive display, according to a report on the Mirror.

The England U20 International striker showed his physical prowess by opening the scoring with a towering header, which opened the floodgates for the visitors in an easy away victory.

Davis has found the net twice already for Villa and has been gaining interest from many of the top clubs in the Premier League, with Arsenal one of those keeping an eye on him..

Manchester United and Everton are also said to be watching the player as he makes a rapid rise after being released by Stevenage at the age of 16.

Davis took the setback in his stride and worked hard which eventually led to Villa signing him after his prolific goalscoring run for non-league side Biggleswade Town’s under 18 side.

Villa manager Steve Bruce has been hugely impressed with Davis, and even selected him over £12m Scott Hogan.

However, the manager is aware that Davis must keep his concentration and to continue working hard. Bruce has predicted that the young forward will go on to have a “wonderful” playing career.
