Inter Milan preparing huge bid for Alexis Sanchez

Serie A giants Inter Milan have confirmed their desire to sign Arsenal forward Alexis Sanchez this summer and want to make him the “poster boy” at the San Siro, according to a report in the Mirror.

The Italian side are backed by Chinese billionaire group Suning and are ready to start a new era under new boss Luciano Spalletti.

The club are ready to make Sanchez their number one acquisition this summer and are “dreaming” of signing the 28-year-old.

The future of Sanchez at the Gunners is in doubt and it is reported that he has demanded £400,000-a-week to stay at the Emirates.

Sanchez has been linked with Premier League rivals Manchester City, who are keen to sign the forward, however, manager Arsene Wenger is adamant not to sell his star player to a direct rival which could open the door for Inter to make a move.

The Chilean only has one year remaining on his contract at Arsenal and should he remain for another year, then he will be available to leave on a free transfer.

Inter are willing to pay whatever price Arsenal demand but we are yet to see any official bid made for the forward. Sanchez has faced Inter during his time with Serie A club Udinese and the Italian giants are keen to lure him back to the Italian top flight.

Sanchez was Arsenal’s top scorer last season and got his name on the score sheet 24 times in the Premier League. Wenger’s main aim this summer is to convince Sanchez to stay in North London.
