As is custom, the Premier League have released their official released and retained lists ahead of the start of the transfer window and they have today announced who will be leaving the Emirates.
Arsenal will be saying goodbye to no fewer than three players this month, most notably striker Yaya Sanogo.
The Gunners signed the striker as a highly-rated prospect in 2013 from French side Auxerre on a four-year deal.
He struggled with a back injury during the 2013/14 season which limited him to just 14 appearances that season, primarily as a substitute.
Sanogo scored his one and only Arsenal goal during a 2-0 home in against Borussia Dortmund during the 2014/15 Champions League group stage, but he failed to kick on and was sent on loan to Crystal Palace for the second half of the campaign.
The former France U21 international netted just once for the Eagles in 11 appearances before returning to the Gunners at the end of the season.
With no place for him in the squad, he joined Ajax on loan but again failed to make an impression, playing in just six games before they terminated the deal in January.
He spent the rest of the season with Charlton and scored a hat-trick during a 4-3 home defeat to Reading, which proved to be his only goals for the Addicks in eight games.
In 2016/17, injuries have prevented the 24-year-old from even getting a look in the first-team, prompting the club to call time on his tenure.
Kristopher Da Gracia and Stefan O’Connor will be joining Sanogo out the exit door at the Emirates.
