Alexis Sanchez’s contract situation is well-known, and clubs are already queuing up for his signature.
According to Chilean TV show ‘El Show de Prensafutbol’ (h/t the Daily Mail), Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho and Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola have both held phone conversations with Sanchez over a move to the north-west.
They aren’t alone in their interest as Premier League leaders Chelsea want to keep him in London at Stamford Bridge while PSG are also keen on adding him to their star-studded forward line.
Sanchez has turned down multiple new contracts with Arsenal who are yet to meet his £250,000-a-week wage demands, while the uncertainty surrounding the future of Arsene Wenger will have an impact on his decision, along with the futures of several other players.
If Arsenal decide they’re unwilling to met his demands and sell him, then the best option would undoubtedly be a team overseas. Can’t be having another Van Persie situation where he joins a league rival and essentially wins them the league.
