Arsenal are interested in signing forward Andre Silva from Porto, according to a report from Portuguese news outlet O Jogo.
Arsenal reportedly sent scouts to watch as the 20-year-old played against Leicester City in the Champions League last month and will continue to monitor his progress throughout the season.
Silva has scored six goals in 11 games this season, including five in seven league games and is one of the most highly touted young players in Europe and is tipped to become the next star off the Porto production line.

He’s already earned a full international cap aged 20 and it looks like a matter of time before he makes a move away from Portugal.
In terms of a fee, Silva recently signed a five-year contract exertion at Porto, but that contract includes a £52.8million buy-out clause.
Whether Arsenal would be willing to pay so much on a 20-year-old remains to be seen, but it’s likely that if they don’t, somebody will in the near future.
