Wanda Nara, the wife and agent of Inter Milan striker, Mauro Icardi is flying to London for talks with officials from Arsenal, regarding the possible transfer of her husband and client, according to a report from Italian outlet Corriere dello Sport.
Arsenal have been looking for a new striker this summer and after England’s Jamie Vardy decided to reject a move to the Emirates, they’ve been looking for alternatives and it seems like they’ve identified the Argentinian international as a target.
According to the report, Arsenal are willing to pay Icardi €6million a year, with the addition of incentivized bonuses, which is a significant increase on the €3.8million he currently earns at Inter Milan.

Corriere dello Sport say that the likely transfer fee for the 23-year-old would be in the region of €40million to €50million, although no official bid will be made until the Gunners know if Icardi wants to make a move. Arsenal have already been somewhat embarrassed by Jamie Vardy turning them down after having had a bid accepted, and they may be looking to avoid a similar incident with Icardi.
