Real Madrid have used their buy-back option to sign Alvaro Morata from Juventus and according to reports in Italy, Juventus have identified Arsenal’s, Alexis Sanchez as the man they want to replace the outgoing Spaniard.

By his standards, Alexis Sanchez had a much quieter season last year. Reports emerged towards the end of the season, that the Chilean international was growing frustrated at Arsenal amid another season of disappointment and constant clashes with Wenger over his demands to play. Sanchez does have two years left on his current deal, but is in talks over a new contract with the club.

As reported by Sky Italia, (via TalkSport), Juve plan to add to the £23 million they received for Morata, to attempt to take Sanchez back to Italy.

There was talk that Juventus would look to sign Everton’s Romelu Lukaku or, Paris Saint-Germain’s Edinson Cavani, as they look for a new striker, but apparently they think that they can get Sanchez for cheaper than either of those two. It would seem unlikely that Arsenal would consider letting the Chilean international leave, especially for a low fee.

The Gunners are looking to build a squad that can finally win the Premier League and selling one of their better players is certainly not the best way to go about doing that.
