Besiktas have been linked with a move for Arsenal goalkeeper David Ospina for some time, and after months of speculation, they’ve admitted that they are interested in signing the Colombian international.
The arrival of Petr Cech from Chelsea last summer saw Ospina’s playing time severely limited and he is keen for regular first-team action.
The 27-year-old joined Arsenal from Nice in 2014 for around £3million but has never been able to nail down a regular starting role.

Ospina was linked with a move away from the Emirates last summer but Arsenal decided to keep him as the backup option and allowed Wojciech Szczesny to go out on loan to Italian side Roma.
However, the player looks set for a move and Besiktas’ sporting director Gokhan Keskin has confirmed the Turkish club are interested in signing him.
Speaking to local radio station Radyospor and as reported by the Express, he said:
Nothing has been agreed on yet but we are targeting Ospina.
