Arsenal look set to sign Borussia Monchengladbach midfielder Granit Xhaka after reportedly agreeing personal terms with the 23-year-old.
According to the Rheinische Post – a local outlet in Germany – Arsenal have made an offer of £33.9million plus add-ons to sign the Swiss international, and that seems to be enough to get the Bundesliga club to sell up.
A report from Goal suggests that the Gunners have also agreed personal terms with the midfielder and that all parties hope to get a deal completed before he joins up with his national team ahead of Euro 2016.

Mikel Arteta, Tomas Rosicky and Mathieu Flamini have all left the Gunners so it makes sense for the London club to be looking to make midfield additions and appears that Xhaka has always been their number one target.
The combative Monchengladbach captain seems perfectly suited to the English game, although he may need to be a bit more disciplined as he’s been sent off five times in his Bundesliga career.
