With the acquisition of Petr Cech, Arsenal finally solved the goalkeeping position. The experienced ‘keeper, has been one of the few plus points in an otherwise, poor season for Arsenal.
Due to Cech’s transfer to Arsenal, former number one, Wojciech Szczęsny, was sent on loan to Roma to prove his quality and improve his experience. David Ospina meanwhile, solidified his position as Arsenal’s number two.
Although the Colombian international has not made as many League appearances as he did last year, he has still managed to keep two clean sheets in his four League games.

The ex-Nice ‘keeper, however has become a reported target for Everton. Long time number one, Tim Howard, is set to make the move to MLS club, the Colorado rapids next season, and while Joel Robles has become the regular number one for Everton, Ospina is seen as an upgrade at the position.
Roberto Martinez is under huge pressure, as his future at the Liverpool club remains in question. While Ospina could be a good signing for Everton, the greater news, is whether Martinez will still be manager of the club at the beginning of next season.
