Arsenal have recalled Serge Gnabry from his loan spell at West Brom after the youngster failed to get the game time that both he and the Gunners wanted him to receive playing at the Hawthorns.

As reported by John Percy of the Telegraph, Arsenal will look to loan the 20-year-old back out to a Championship side, where he is more likely to get minutes, with Brighton & Hove Albion keen to acquire him for the rest of the season.

Gnabry played just 12 minutes of Premier League football during his time at West Brom and has not been involved in the matchday squad for the majority of fixtures.

According to Percy, Arsenal still have huge hopes for the German under-21 international and are keen for him to play more regularly which is why a loan move to the Championship makes sense for all parties.

The loan move to the Baggies ending early will come as a relief to Arsenal supporters and Gnabry himself, with many disappointed the young German was not better utilised at the club.
