Dani Ceballos has reportedly rejected Arsenal 24 hours before the transfer window is due to shut for the English club. The Real Betis midfielder stated his happiness with the Spanish club and will not be leaving before the window closes.
Arsenal are in dire need for prolific attackers, so the blow from the Spanish playmaker will not please supporters. The 19-year-old has had a period of exceptional performances, but he wants to stay at home in his native Spain for the sake of regular playing time, instead of sitting on the bench at Arsenal. Arsene Wenger’s attack have been less than prolific this season, scoring just three goals in four games.

Ceballos was also wanted by Arsenal’s Premier League rivals Liverpool, but he has rejected them in order to keep developing in La Liga. He had some things to say about the potential move to England.
I want to continue at Betis and enjoy these fans for many years.
That they trust me because I have never failed them.
I have always given everything for this shirt and I only think about returning all of the affection that I have received from the Beticos.
The youngster went on to make his biggest claim.
What I want is to stay at Betis.
The Spain youth international should be a wanted man by just about every top team in Europe around this time next year if he keeps up his current form. Arsenal are likely desperate for attacking reinforcements of any kind right now with a day left in the transfer window.

Arsene Wenger likely has a striker at the top of his shopping list as his current frontmen – Olivier Giroud and Theo Walcott, have struggled as of late. The rumours regarding inbound centre-forwards have been quiet as of late, which will worry supporters. The Frenchman and the board know what the club needs, so they are likely working to get a deal done behind the scenes.
