Chelsea are interested in signing Alexis Sanchez this January, according to a report from Darren Lewis of The Mirror.
Sanchez’s contract at the Emirates next summer and there is a definite chance that the Gunners could sell him when the window re-opens so they can cash in rather than lose him for free.
Manchester City tried to get Sanchez in the summer and were reportedly pretty close to getting him, with the Chilean keen to join up with Pep Guardiola.

However, Chelsea manager Antonio Conte is keen to add another forward to his squad as he does not seem to trust Michy Batshuayi and Sanchez certainly fits the bill.
The 28-year-old is said to be happy living in London so he could decide to reject a move to City in favour of a transfer to Stamford Bridge, if the Blues are happy to meet his wage demands, which they are likely to do.
Arsenal are still hoping to tie Sanchez down to a new deal but as it stands, it looks like his departure from the club is inevitable.
