Birmingham City are hoping to take Jack Wilshere on loan from Arsenal.

The England international has been told that he can leave Arsenal this summer as he searches for regular football and Harry Redknapp is keen to take him to St Andrew’s for the season.
Wilshere spent last season on loan at Bournemouth and did well there for the most part but his campaign was ended prematurely due to an injury he picked up in a game against Tottenham.
It looks like Arsene Wenger has decided that the academy graduate is no longer part of his first team plans, although it is somewhat of a surprise that he could move to the Championship on loan, rather than to another club in the top flight.
Wilshere will be hoping to have a good season in order to put himself back in the frame for a place in England’s World Cp squad for next summer, and a move to the Championship probably ends his chances of being on the plane to Russia.
