Nine points back of Chelsea in the title race, Arsenal really cannot afford any slip-ups, especially in a game against the leaders which has a six-point swing.
Arsenal failed to capitalise on Chelsea’s draw in midweek against Liverpool as they fell to a 2-1 defeat against Watford at home.
When the two sides met earlier on in the season back in September, Arsenal cruised to a 3-0 win over their London rivals courtesy of goals from Theo Walcott, Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil, all three of whom are available on Saturday.
However, since then Chelsea have looked near enough unbeatable in their pursuit of a fifth Premier League crown.
Even though the Gunners have their eyes on reigning in Chelsea, a top four place isn’t a given, with second to sixth separated by just five points.
