Player Ratings – Stoke (H)

Arsenal kept in touching distance of Chelsea at the top of the Premier League after overcoming Stoke with a 3-1 win.

Things got off to a rocky start when a rough challenge from Granit Xhaka on Joe Allen where it looked like he elbowed the Welshman in the face gave referee Lee Mason no option but hand the visitors a penalty with Charlie Adam comfortably dispatched.

Shkodran Mustafi left the game shortly after through injury and was replaced by Hector Bellerin and the Spaniard changed the game when his cross picked out Theo Walcott who scored his 100th career club goal to bring the Gunners back on level terms.

A rare Mesut Ozil header gave Arsenal the lead shortly after the restart and then Alex Iwobi bagged his first goal of the season to secure all three points for Arsene Wenger’s men.

Here are our player ratings from the win.
