Arsenal certainly came back from an international break on the right foot on Saturday as they thrashed local rivals Watford by a score of 4-0 at the Emirates. It was a complete performance, with the defence keeping a clean sheet and the attack pouring in the goals.
Among the highlights of the match were the skills of Mesut Özil, Mohamed Elneny’s passing, Alex Iwobi’s shooting and dribbling, and David Ospina’s performance between the sticks.
Although it may be too little, too late for the Gunners in the chase for the Premier League title, it is a great way to start off going into the home stretch of the season, and if the north London club keep it up, who knows what can happen if Leicester and Tottenham happen to drop points.
After a great afternoon for the club, let’s take a look at the three stars of the match for Arsenal against Watford.
