Troubled Paris Saint-Germain right-back Serge Aurier, could be available for just £11.8 million. A price that Arsene Wenger could be tempted to offer.
PSG reportedly will look to distance themselves from the 23-year-old in the summer transfer window. Aurier has fallen out of favour with the French champions ever since he was caught criticising manager Laurent Blanc and teammate Zlatan Ibrahimovic on social media site Periscope earlier this month.
Arsenal have had their eye on Aurier before, and according to Fichajes, despite his transgressions at PSG, the Gunners are willing to bring him to the Emirates.
The Ivory Coast international would be a useful replacement for disgruntled Mathieu Debuchy, on loan to Bordeaux, who was upset when his request to move to Premier League rivals Manchester United was denied.
Wenger seems to have assessed the risk/reward scenarios that Augier’s presence could mean to Arsenal. And PSG’s low asking price could be too good to pass up.
