Any hopes Arsene Wenger had of bringing Napoli striker Gonzalo Higuain to the Emirates appear to have been dashed.
As reported by talkSPORT, Higuain’s brother and agent Nicolas, claimed that the 28-year-old Argentinian isn’t going anywhere. His 24 goals in 25 appearances have been impressive and leave Napoli, currently in second place behind Juventus, dreaming of a place in next season’s UEFA Champions League.

We have a contract and there’s no chance of playing nowhere elsewhere, but we can’t think of the Champions League now, but just about playing every game.
There’s still many points to play for.

Of course these comments can just be an agent being coy in order to secure a massive transfer fee. And who could blame him? This has been a fantastic season for Higuain, who scored 17 and 18 goals respectively, in his first two campaigns with Napoli.
It’s not surprising that the Argentine’s current form has sparked interest from the Gunners as well as Bundesliga powerhouse Bayern Munich, who hoped to sign the former Real Madrid star during the summer transfer window.
