According to reports, Arsenal are closing in on Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Adrien Rabiot.
The 20-year-old Frenchman has previously been linked with a move to Arsenal and recently spoke of his frustration over his lack of playing time. It is claimed that Veronique Rabiot, his agent, is in London to discuss a move to the north London club.
The Rabiot speculation comes at a time whereby Arsenal are seemingly short in midfield. With injuries to Santi Cazorla, Francis Coquelin and Jack Wilshere, it seems Wenger has decided to add depth to his squad.
Wenger’s side now enter a period where they need to solidify their position at the top of the League.

Rabiot also joins Mohamed Elneny, as a reported transfer target. It is claimed that Elneny will sooner or later complete his move to the Emirates side. Rabiot, however, would seem a more expensive and long-term option in the midfield. The Frenchman is yet to make a senior appearance for France, but that could well change under the tutelage of Arsene Wenger.
Rabiot’s move is quoted to be upwards of £10 million. He would provide cover in the midfield, and provided much-needed depth for an Arsenal side chasing the title.
