If reports are to be believed, Arturo Vidal could well be on his way to the Emirates to pair up with his fellow countryman Alexis Sanchez at Arsenal – here are some of his finest moments for Juventus and Chile.
1. vs Cagliari – December 2014
This stunning effort came as Juventus breezed to a 3-1 win; it’s an effort no goalkeeper would have been able to stop.
2. vs Torino – April 2013
Is there a better feeling than scoring in a derby? How about scoring a sensational volley in that derby and picking up 3 points for your team…
3. vs Sampdoria – May 2015
Not only can he score thunderbolt volleys and beautiful finesse goals, Arturo knows how to score with that interesting haircut of his, too.
4. vs Real Madrid – October 2013
Always a passionate player, Vidal wears his heart on his sleeve and on this occasion, took exception to the grass as he appealed for a penalty after kicking the turf and falling over.
5. Stunning header for Chile
Back to the usual, impressive side of his game – Arturo scored this sublime diving header whilst on international duty to prove he can deliver even when he’s not in a Juventus shirt.
Of course, Vidal has scored many more than just these 4 spectacular efforts; quite a number of his other goals could easily have made this top 5. This list is simply a taste of what could be to come at The Emirates.
