The South Korean international starred for Salzburg during the UEFA Champions League group stages and put in some impressive performances against English side Liverpool.

The report claims that Wolves are ‘close to signing’  the forward player, who can operate anywhere along the front line.

The Gunners are keen to strengthen their squad in the January transfer window but it seems Wolves have come out on top in this battle.

Hwang caused Liverpool plenty of problems and caught the eye with his performances in the Champions League.

Wolves are a side that are doing well domestically and in the Europa League, so joining them seems like an obvious decision for the forward.

Arsenal have plenty of attacking firepower and some hugely talented academy players, so missing out on him isn’t the end of the world.
