Arsenal Player Ratings: Bayern Munich (N)

Arsenal began their pre-season International Champions Cup campaign with a dramatic late 2-1 win over Bayern Munich.

Unai Emery fielded a strong team against the German champions, with the Gunners going ahead shortly after the interval after Bayern defender Louis Poznanski guided the ball into his own net.

The Bundesliga giants responded 20 minutes after initially going behind, with former Arsenal winger Serge Gnabry providing a cross for Robert Lewandowski to power home.

The match looked to be heading for a draw, however, an 88th-minute winner from 20-year-old substitute Eddie Nketiah handed Emery’s side an impressive win.

The Gunners used 19 players during the match, with plenty of youth and experience on show.

Arsenal will now take on Serie A side Fiorentina in Charlotte on Saturday before facing Spanish giants Real Madrid in Landover late on Tuesday.

However, before that, we’ve decided to hand out our ratings from the Gunners’ impressive performance in Los Angeles.
