Arsenal talisman Alexis Sanchez has reportedly encouraged Manchester City to continue their pursuit of him, as more uncertainty about his future surfaces.
According to Manchester Evening News, Sanchez is trying to force a move to City, as he continues to price himself out of a move abroad.
The Chilean has been heavily linked with a move to Pep Guardiola’s side, with £50 million the reported fee at the epicentre of the rumours.

French giants Paris St-Germain have also been said to be interested, however they have retracted their steps after Arsenal’s top scorer demanded £500,000-a-week.
This is the same story with German champions Bayern Munich, who also baulked at Sanchez’s price tag.
Arsene Wenger remains firm that he will not sell his star man, but the 28-year-old seemingly has his heart set on a switch to the North-West.
Sanchez, who scored 30 goals in all competitions for the Gunners last season, has 12 months remaining on his current deal, and Arsenal’s resolve will certainly be put to the test if they want to keep their main man.
