Liverpool are preparing a huge £40 million offer for Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, with Jurgen Klopp not being put off by the Gunners’ huge asking price.
The Express claims that the winger is set to be offered a new deal at Arsenal, worth somewhere in the region of £100,000 per week. However, the Reds are prepared to do their utmost to prevent this and bring him to Anfield.
The 23-year-old was unhappy to have been crafted into a makeshift wing-back by Arsene Wenger, he wants to play as a central midfielder. Jurgen Klopp will use this to his advantage when discussing terms with the player.
