Arsenal have secured the signature of highly rated defender Sead Kolasinac from Bundesliga club Schalke, as announced on the club’s official website Arsenal.com.
Kolasinac, who will soon be 24, had been linked with a move to the Gunners for a couple of months but finally, the North London club have completed the transfer.

The Bosnian defender is strong in his play but also causes problems to the opposition defence from set pieces. He scored three times in the Bundesliga this season and registered five assists. His tackling is also hugely successful, with the defender winning 52 out of 69 challenges.
The defender was born in Germany and also represented the German national team at youth level but chose to play for Bosnia and Herzegovina. The youngster has spent his whole professional career at Schalke but is now ready for a new challenge with Arsenal.
He is expected to join up with the squad for pre-season training in July after he has completed all the regulatory processes. Wenger will be pleased with the signing of Kolasinac following the Frenchman signing his own contract at the club for an extra two years as he looks to challenge for the Premier League title next season.
