Five defenders Arsenal should target in January

With the January transfer window fast approaching, Arsene Wenger may well be looking at his squad and wondering if and where it needs to add more depth. The Gunners are currently second in the Barclays Premier League and are right on the tails of Manchester City, who only sit above the Gunners thanks to goal difference.

After a summer where only Petr Cech was brought in, Wenger will still have plenty of cash to splash if the right player should turn up but, do Arsenal need anybody else?
