Arsenal and Tottenham have been linked with a January move for RB Leipzig defender Dayot Upamecano.
The 21-year-old has been a long-term target for the Gunners, and some fans now think a new year move is edging closer due to a recent video shared on social media.

@KAVIRAJAFC shared this clip on Twitter, which shows one Arsenal fan showing head of football Raul Sanllehi an image of Upamecano and shouting ‘good player’.

Mikel Arteta desperately needs to add to his defensive ranks over the next four weeks, and a move for Upamecano could be on the cards.
Of course, supporters shouldn’t be reading too much into it, but Sanllehi’s reaction will only excite a section of fans.
Upamecano’s deal expires in 2021 and the Frenchman has shown no signs of extending his contract with his current employers, so if Arsenal are going to make their move, now might be the ideal time.
