Arsenal fans have urged the club to wrap up a deal for former Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino, despite the recent links to Carlo Ancelotti.
The Athletic’s David Ornstein has provided an update on Arsenal’s hunt for a new manager.
He claims that the Gunners are willing to wait until the summer if the right candidate doesn’t become available in the near future, despite the club wanting to have the situation resolved as quickly as possible.
Amid conflicting reports about Arsenal’s interest in Carlo Ancelotti, the former Spurs manager was a popular suggestion among these supporters on social media.

Pochettino was heavily linked with the Arsenal role when Unai Emery was first sacked by the Gunners.
After leaving Tottenham during a similar stage of the season, the links were obvious and to be expected.
However, they’ve gone quiet in recent weeks as Mikel Arteta and Carlo Ancelotti emerge as the most likely options for the club.
It remains to be seen if Pochettino would really be willing to cross the North London divide, but if he is open to the controversial move, Arsenal should waste no more time in getting a deal done, whatever the cost.
