Freddie Ljungberg has provided an update on both Hector Bellerin and Kieran Tierney following their respective injuries on Monday night.
Bellerin was ruled out of the game during the warm-up, despite being named in the starting XI.
Tierney, who had been suffering from a shoulder injury, was forced off with a similar problem after a clash in the penalty area.
As reported by the club’s official website, Ljungberg said:
Tierney, I think it’s something with his shoulder but I don’t know exactly what it is. But obviously we had to take him off so I think he’s going to maybe go to hospital and check what it is.
Hector had a bit of feeling, I think, in his hamstring in the warm up. Then we took the decision. I said I’m not going to force anyone to play if you don’t feel 100 per cent.

The two injuries really overshadowed what was a memorable win for the Gunners.

The three points will come as such a huge boost to the squad, but now Ljungberg has a problem to deal with in his full-back spots.
He’ll be hoping the injuries are nothing serious and that at least one of the two players could return in time for Thursday’s Europa League clash.
Ainsley Maitland-Niles came into the team against West Ham to fill in for Bellerin and he’s been a player that has struggled in that position previously this season – so an imminent return for Bellerin would be good news for the interim Arsenal boss.
