Arsenal could potentially consider interim manager Freddie Ljungberg to be their next permanent manager, according to reports.
The former Gunner has been put in charge of the Arsenal team in an interim capacity following the sacking of Unai Emery on Friday afternoon.
Several reports have emerged claiming that Arsenal are in negotiations with any number of possible managerial targets, and Ljungberg could be one of them if his interim spell goes successfully.

According to Sky Sports News’ Kaveh Solhekol on Twitter, Arsenal have drawn up a five man shortlist that currently consists of Mikel Arteta, Nuno Espirito Santo, Carlo Ancelotti, Max Allegri and Brendan Rodgers.
He also adds that it wouldn’t be ‘impossible’ for the club to consider offering Ljungberg the vacant position.
Following Emery’s departure, Arsenal will be hoping that they can back to winning ways against Norwich on Sunday, following a run seven games without a win.

It is always tricky when a club decides to trust an interim manager to take over on a full-time basis. Manchester United are currently proving that while it might seem like a great idea at first, it may not be the wisest decision in the long-term.
With so many top managers available and out of work, such as Allegri and Ancelotti, Arsenal would be unwise not to explore all possible options before turning to their interim boss.
Allegri seems like the logical choice, but it all depends on whether the Italian is willing to commit himself to the Emirates.
