Arsenal and Manchester United have recently been linked with a move for Juventus defender Merih Demiral, and a section of Gunners supporters are keen for a deal to go through.
The 21-year-old is reportedly willing to leave the Serie A champions after featuring just once under Maurizio Sarri this season.
Demiral enjoyed a productive loan spell with Sassuolo last season, which, along with his recent displays for Turkey, have appeared to catch the eye of Arsenal officials.

The news of Arsenal’s interest allowed Gunners fan @afcRyan1 to share an impressive highlight video of Demiral’s recent performance against France in a 1-1 European Championship qualifier.
He then begged the club to bring the defender to the Emirates to form a ‘sensational’ partnership with William Saliba.

These Gunners supporters were also quick to weigh in with their views on the powerful defender.

Arsenal were heavily tipped to sign RB Leipzig’s Dayot Upamecnao late in the summer and have again been linked with a move for the Frenchman in recent weeks.
It appears as if it could be one or the other in the new year, and Demiral looks the more realistic option.
The Turkish international would probably be the cheaper signing, and finances could be a major factor following the Gunners’ summer spending spree.
If Arsenal firm up their interest in Demiral in the new year and pip United to his services, it would definitely go down well with these supporters.
