Matteo Guendouzi was a busy man over the international break, playing 166 minutes of action for France’s Under-21 side.
The midfielder helped his country to two European Championship qualifier wins over Azerbaijan and Slovakia, and one specific moment against the former left plenty of Arsenal fans talking.
@ArsenalCharrua shared a clip on social media showing the youngster fending off two opposing players with good skill and defensive strength before starting an attack.

But could Guendouzi become Arsenal skipper in the future?

Guendouzi is quickly becoming a midfielder who can almost do everything.
The youngster’s rise over the past 12 months has been nothing short of phenomenal, and I’m not sure many supporters were expecting him to have such a big influence on the side when he joined from Lorient last summer.
He’s quick, good on the ball, defensively savvy and has shown maturity beyond his years during his time in north London, and f he can continue to excel. there’s no reason why he couldn’t become Gunners captain further down the line.
