Arsenal fans have hit out at Leeds United over their treatment of striker Eddie Nketiah after he continued his free-scoring form on Tuesday.
The 20-year-old bagged a hat-trick in England’s 5-1 Under-21 European Championship qualifier win over Austria and also missed a penalty in a dominant performance from Aidy Boothroyd’s side.

Chelsea’s Callum Hudson-Odoi also netted twice, but it was, as expected, Nketiah’s display which had many Arsenal fans talking.
@PatrickTimmons1 shared his view on Nketiah shortly after he netted his second, claiming he is too good to be warming the bench in Yorkshire and should be recalled if he isn’t getting regular minutes at Elland Road.

These Arsenal fans were quick to reply to the post, with many agreeing with his opinion.

Arsenal then shared this post about the forward, which led to these Gunners supporters urging the club to bring him back.

The youngster is yet to start a Championship encounter under Marcelo Bielsa, despite netting four times in all competitions, and it’s easy to understand some supporters frustration.

The whole purpose of Nketiah’s loan was for him to become a first-team regular, however, Bielsa is still sticking with Patrick Bamford, despite his inability to find the back of the net.
Nketiah was wanted by over 20 sides over the summer, so finding him another side for the second half of the season wouldn’t be a problem, should the Gunners decide to bring him back to the Emirates.
Arsenal, Leeds and the player himself will obviously be hoping things work out in Yorkshire, and following his impressive form on international duty, he’ll surely be expecting a first league start over the coming weeks.
