With the Gunners boasting a poor record away from home, it is vital that they deliver a good performance tonight and take a lead to the Mestalla next week.

After a professional display against Napoli, Unai Emery’s men have lost their last three games prior to today. Hence, their confidence level has taken a bit of a battering.

However, they have been pretty good at home in Europe this season, and that needs to be repeated against Valencia.

The Spanish side are also coming into this game with two league defeats, but, they have been a decent proposition in Europe.

All in all, Arsenal know what they need to do – take a lead and not concede an away goal.

In terms of their team news, Aaron Ramsey has played his last game for the club after being ruled out for the remainder of the season, while Nacho Monreal will undergo a late fitness ahead of the game.
