German Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich are still monitoring Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey as they remain interested in signing him, according to a report on the Daily Mail.
Ramsey’s representatives have held formal talks with Italian Serie A side Juventus, but this has not stopped Bayern registering their interest in the Welshman.
Ramsey’s current Arsenal deal expires at the end of the season and the club has made it clear that they have no intentions of extending his stay at the Emirates Stadium.
As soon as the January transfer window opens, Ramsey is free to negotiate with foreign clubs and can even sign a pre-contract agreement next month.
Ramsey is yet to decide where he will be playing his football after his journey with the Gunners comes to an end and Bayern are hopeful that the 27-year-old chooses to move to Germany instead of Italy.
Bayern boss Niko Kovac is understood to be an admirer of Ramsey and is keen to bolster his midfield options by signing him.
